100 Square

An incredibly versatile teaching tool. You can change the start number and change the step size, then try and find the hidden number.

Addition - Rapid Recall

A great way to practice number bonds / complementary numbers. Play against the clock and see who can complete the sums quickest. Choose number pairs that equal 10, 20, 50 or 100, or decimals pairs that equal 1.

Column Addtion

The next step towards an efficient formal method of column addition. Add the numbers starting with the least significant. Then combine the partitioned result. Choice of 2-digit, 3-digit or 4-digit.

Comparing Calculations

Decide whether the calculation is greater or less than a given number and use the appropriate symbol (<, >, or =). Lots of choice of level including addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Compare Fractions and Fractions with Decimals

Compare fractions with differing denominators, and compare fractions with decimals. A wide choice of levels. Use a fraction wall to help compare.

Difference Between Times

Find how long a journey took by jumping on a timeline.

Divsion Rapid Recall

Answer the division questions as quickly as possible. Choose a number to divdide by, or choose a range of numbers.

Expanded Addtion

Add the partitioned numbers beginning with the largest. Choice of 2-digit, 3-digit or 4-digit numbers. An important conceptual step before a more formal method of column addition.

Finding Common Factors

Find the factors of numbers and organise them on a Carroll Diagram.

Finding Multiples

Find the multiples of either one, or two numbers and arrange them on a Carroll Diagram.

Matching Pairs

Match the pairs of cards with the same value. A great game to play as a mental starter. Over 50 levels to play including; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, matching fractions and decimals and converting between measurements.

Missing Digits

Find the missing digit in a calculation. Choose addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Lots of control over level inculding decimals.

Multiply and Divide by 10, 100 and 1000 (1)

Multiply and divide numbers by 10, 100 and 1000 and observe the effect. Lots of choice of level including decimals.

Multiply and Divide by 10, 100 and 1000 (2)

Decide which function has been applied to a number. Reinforces the effects of multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.

Multiplication - Grid Method

Multiply partitioned numbers using the grid method. Lots of choice of levels, inculding decimals.

Multiplication - Written Method

Working towards a more formal written method. Multiply the most significant numbers first, then combine.

Multiplication Rapid Recall

Drag the correct number to complete the multiplication sentence. Choose which times table to practice.

Order Calculations

Order the calulations from those with the least value to the greatest. Lots of levels, including; addition pairs to 20, addition pairs to 100, addition and subtraction of multiples of 10, and multiplication of numbers up to 10.

Order Numbers

Order the numbers from smallest to biggest . Choice of whole numbers, negative numbers and decimals.

Partitioning (1)

Partition numbers into their simplest forms. Choice of whole numbers and decimals.

Partitioning (2)

Partition numbers in different ways. Choice of whole numbers and decimals.

Partitioning (3)

Find 5 ways to partition the same number. Choice of whole numbers and decimals.

Place Calculations on a Number Line

Place the answer to calculations on a number line. An enormous array of choice. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ranging from adding numbers to 10 to multiplying 4 digit numbers. Great for combining teaching calculations with developing an understanding of place value.

Placing Numbers on a Number Line

Drag the arrow to the correct point on a number line. Lots of choice over level, inculding whole numbers, negative number, decimals, fraction and multiples.

Place Value

Recognise the value of an underlined digit . Choice of whole numbers and decimals.
